Because Claire and I was considered one of last few to arrive at the event, we did not the chance to take the official photo against the backdrop at the end of the red carpet. So after the event, we decided to take one before we go home and it was captured by one of the official photographer! (: Love this photo! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

By the way, I got a sad story to tell... The reason I took almost a week to come up with my award post is because... I have to wait for others to send me each and everyone of the photo. The reason is, my camera sucks. Sad right :( *Sob*

Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2009

Finally I'm blogging about the Awards! It has been almost a week since the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog awards was held. It was one of the most anticipated event of the year! Everyone was looking forward to the arrival of 23rd October!

About 2 weeks before the awards, Nuffnang extended their invitation for me to attend the event. Of course, I have to do my part by doing the Pringles and the Uniquely Singapore post! You can read them HERE and HERE!

One week before the event, Claire and I was busy shopping for our outfit for the awards! She had to get her cocktail dress, I have to get my Blazer, my shoes ++ On the actual day itself, Claire even went to a salon to set her hair (:

After preparation, we went to Orchard to have a quick bite before cabbing down to Pan Pacific Singapore. The cab fare is damn expensive, because there was a huge traffic jam :( All because of some Big shot traveling around SG lor! Irritating.

We reached around 7.45pm, registered at the counter and were assigned table 9 with familiar faces like Shawn, Jessica, Esther, Typicalben, Randy etc (:

On the table was a little door gift for everyone. Handmade sticky candies! On each candy were printed things like, "I ♥ blogging", "Nuffnang Awards" or the Nuffnang logo (: Super unique, and not forgetting they taste damn nice too! *Slurp!*

The event officially started with an interesting Milestone video and a speech by co-founder Tim and Ming! It feels like their are getting married! AHAHAHHAA

It was then followed by a performance by J C Sum & 'Magic Babe' Ning! Our table can only look from the projector screen as we were seated at the side :(

Checkout the 4 course dinner!

Menu

- Marinated Smoked Tuna with Feta, Herb salad and Balsamic Olive Oil.
- Light Cream of Asparagus and Green peas topped with a Chive Mousseline.
- Rosemary Marinated Chicken Breast with blah blah blah. (Super long!)
- Praline Hazelnut Gateau with Raspberry Jelly.

The food look damn appetizing right! I only did minimal photoshop to them (:

Electrico also performed at the event! The speaker was blasting at our ears >=/

It’s Krrunch Time, Get Playful

Feeling really bored, He wonder what he can do without spending too much $$...

He thought of organizing a Movie Marathon at his house!


He has the whole wide range of DVDs at home!

Of course, Food is an essential for a movie marathon!

When everyone arrived and started watching the movie, Short-term-memory ANdy forgot to take out all the food that he bought previously! *Stomach grumbling*

After everyone complained about being hungry, he suddenly remembered about the food he bought BUT he only took out a tube of Pringles! What's the reason?

He decided to be cheeky and tricked everyone that there is only that one and only Pringles left! To make things more FUN krrunch, he said, "The one who manage to guess the correct number of Pringles in the tube will get to eat it!" HAHAHA

Everyone started estimating!

Here we go... 1...2...3...


Because of the little "contest", the situation became more lively! ANdyStorm then went to the kitchen to get more Pringles and food for everyone! Yipeeeeee!

Pringles turn a boring situation to a playful one!
