Fortunate Yum Cha Restaurant with Clarence and Kelvin!

Clarence recently went to New York to study and came back for just 2 days over the weekends to attend his sis wedding so we (Clarence, kelvin and me) decided to meet up to catch with another! Due to our busy schedules (NS -__-), the only time we can meet up was early in the morning, 9am in town!

We wanted to have dim sum for breakfast so i went online to search for dim sum restaurants around town. Most places like Crystal jade or Imperial treasure open only at 11am (Kelvin had to leave at around 12 for project work!) So after researching, only Fortunate Restaurant opens early, at 8am!

幸福饮茶 Located at International Building, Orchard.

Was expecting a nicer/ professional looking menu though...

Did a research on this restaurant and there were good reviews on their dim sum! Ordered...

Chee Cheong Fun! We ordered ALL 3 different types! Char siew, Prawn and Scallop!

I Char Siew Pao (Ordered 2 "long"), Paper wrapped chicken etc.

No har gao that day, but the waitress recommended their "Scallop har gao" so we decided to try it. In the end it's still Har Gao with a piece of scallop on top of it lor! Like trying cheat our $$, Lol.

Other dishes include - Century egg porridge and Fried carrot cake!

Individual shots of us with the Dim sum(s)!!! :D

Was quite surprised that the total damage was $34.10! Expected it to be more...

If you get to go to a country now, which country would it be?

Would it be...

Korea? Home of SNSD, SHINee, Super Junior and more!

Japan?

Hong Kong? 买东西, 吃东西, 买东西, 吃东西!

Thailand?

Australia?

Paris, France?
Ok, I should stop here. I could go on and on, places after places and this post will never end. So, what's the country/place that you really feel like going now? (:

Sunday breakfast at Crystal Jade!

Once again it's Sunday Breakfast with Claire! This time we went to Crystal Jade! That day damn malu! At Tampines mall, there's Crystal Jade and Ding Tai Fung but i always thought that there's only Crystal Jade there. As i was early, i went into Ding Tai Fung (thinking it was crystal jade -__-) got a seat and started looking at the menu. Then i wondered, "Where's the Dim sum menu ah..." then after looking at menu carefully, I REALISED I WAS IN THE WRONG RESTAURANT! Zzz.

So i packed my things (I on-ed my netbook. Zzz), waited till the coast is clear and walk calmly out of the restaurant pretending nothing happened. I bet the waitress must be wondering where i went lor.

Crystal Jade - Located at BASEMENT 1 (NOT SECOND FLOOR)

Peanuts which is already on the table and it cost us 2 bucks -__-'''

Delicious Egg Tarts!

My favourite Char Siew Pao!

Har gao with fresh juicy prawn inside!

Custard Bun.

Chee Cheong Fun!

SUNDAY breakfast i mean FEAST! Total damage: $31.65, Ouch. Haha

Choo choo train Japanese Token Machine!

Recently i keep tweeting about going iluma just to play those "Japanese token machines" at the arcade. If you have been wondering what those machines are, i'm finally blogging about them. LOL

Each token cost $0.10. Yes, you did not see wrongly, it's just 10 cents.

But the thing is, although each token is just 10 cents, these machines are soooo addictive that once you lose all your coins, you can't help exchanging $$ for more tokens -__- While adults play those machines with high returns with high investments, i always play those kiddy one. AHAHHAHAHAHA

The train machine that i always play!!! Btw, is that train called Thomas or something?

All you have to do is slot one of your coins and aim for one of those openings!

See those lighted up squares? Every time your coin goes into one of the opening, you get a "chance" to spin the wheel, and depending on what colour the light lands on, one of the rows will light up. If you manage to reach the end for all 3 rows, YOU HIT THE JACKPOT!!! (anyway it's not that easy as it sounds...) Jackpot = ALOT ALOT of coins falling from the "Thomas train"! I almost kena lor :(

Each time you reach the end of a row, this green train dump a pile of coins :D

Then the coins will "push" the coins (as shown in the photo above) and the coins will drop out from the opening below which is your winnings lor. Can't really win alot from this machine but it's the process that's fun, Lol. I don't know how much i spent on this machine le lor. Kena jackpot once only -__-
