M'sia: Let's go Legoland! Part 2

Continuation of the previous post (Read it HERE if you haven't) There are still a few more interesting rides in the theme park which i have yet to cover! I would say the rides covered in Part 2 are the more exciting ones!
One of the main highlights of Legoland - Project X Roller coaster!

It's smaller than the dragon roller coaster but it's DEFINITELY scarier. Just look at the following photo:
Photobucket
I literally screamed my lungs out.You can even see the veins on neck popping out, LOL

Among all the rides in the themepark, i would say this park is the scariest. Especially if you are sitting in the front seat. There is no handle for you to hold on to, and the drop part at the starting is really quite steep!!! The turning part of this ride is also very swift and it makes you feel like you are flying off the cart. Oh my tians, what a ride seriously.

In the end because there wasn't any queue, we went on the same ride for about 4 times. TROLOLOL

In the middle of the themepark is the Lego Mini land where famous landmarks around the world are replicate using lego bricks! It was quite a spectacular sight to see different places like our Singapore flyer made out of just Lego bricks.
Above we have our Fullerton hotel with the famous Merlion. Not forgetting the Singapore Flyer!
Riverside Point at Clarke Quay. Every thing is built in detail, even the little actions of the figurines. Amazing.

Photo with the Singapore Flyer!
The famous Taj Mahal in India!

Can the spot the other famous landmarks or places?

Take a look at the little little details. Simply amazing. Imagine the amount of effort needed to build all these.

Saw a basketball game stall which made us felt like we wasted all our money on the other game stalls. This one we had to pay about RM20/ball or RM50 for 3 balls (can't really remember) and if the ball goes through the hoop, you get one of those whole teddy bear handing up there. More of skill than luck compared to the others lor! Much easier!!!

The happy girlfriends with their HUGE teddy bears! See, not that difficult what.

Saved the wet ride for the last! The water flume ride!

Most of us wasn't supposed to be that wet but we started splashing each other with water along the way and in the end, we got really wet not because of the impact, but because of all the splashing! WHO STARTED IT!

Because there wasn't much queue, we went for the ride for about 3 times and by the 3rd time, we were soaking wet.

Outside the ride, there were these huge "drying" machines which you stand inside, insert about 5RM and it starts blowing hot air from all directions. So everyone squeeze into one machine and started drying ourselves, LOL

Decided to have a meal so we headed to PizzaMania which offers family combos to share!

One HUGE pizza, 4 drinks and 4 soups so we ordered 2 sets!

After the meal which was at about 4pm+, we rested awhile and went on to go on the roller coaster rides for a few more times since we had all the time! (the bus will only arrive to pick us up at 7pm) so you can imagine how many more times we took the roller coasters! I decided to fake as if i was sleeping so it would turn out funny on the photos, LOL

About 30 mins before the theme park closes, we headed to the "BIG SHOP" where they sell official Lego merchandise and souvenir but everything was so expensive. There wasn't much souvenir to get also, got nothing in the end :(

Ending this post with a photo of me with the 2 huge teddy bears!

Overall i would say it was a fun experience at Legoland (Of course, the company plays a big part too! Thanks *Cousins!) The rides were not bad, and the food inside is affordable. It was definitely worth it for the $58 paid. Remember to wear sun block because i got at least 2 shades darker that day! Would definitely come back when the rest of the park is up!

M'sia: Let's go to Legoland! Part 1

After 5 days of hard work every week, you would want to enjoy your weekend to the fullest right? Every weekend i try to find something interesting to do, like find a nice cafe to enjoy some good food or visit new places like Gardens by the Bay. Sometime last month, decided to take one step further and visit Legoland in Johor, Malaysia! Bought an online deal with the *cousins, $58 for the admission tickets with coach transport to and fro, which i thought was quite worth it!
7.45am: Gathered with everyone at Golden Mile complex. Bus supposedly departing at 8.30am.

The whole big group of us entering Malaysia together!I hope one day we get to travel somewhere further! Stupid bus came late that day at about 9am+ (supposed to be 8.30am depart de lor!) but thankfully there was no queue at the customs and everything went smoothly. Journey took about an hour and we reached Legoland even before it was open!

Hanged around outside Legoland and decided to have KFC breakfast! Time to spend some Ringgit! 1 SGD : RM 2.45! :D

Everyone happy and excited to be out of the country to a brand new themepark experience!

Took a map and started planning which ride(s) to go on first. Decided to give a few rides a miss though.

Group photos along the way! Quite amazed by some of the huge structures that were entirely made of Lego bricks! Once a while i will wonder if they are made brick by brick or it's just the exterior, LOL I guess we will never know.

Headed for the dragon roller coaster straight! There were 2 of it - A small one and a bigger version so obviously we went for the bigger one! We were so happy there were practically no and little queue for every ride! My friend who came during the opening month told me he had to queue up for at least 45 mins for each roller coaster! Can you believe it!

The figurines made of Lego bricks too! Very impressive i would say.

I would say the dragon roller coaster was not scary at all. However it was still fun, so in the end we went for the ride 3 times in a row since there wasn't any queue at all! We were like, "Let's go again!" and we never get off our seats. LOL

The ancient mummy ride which is nothing like our USS Roller coaster, this is a simple track ride but you get to use a "gun" to shoot at different targets to earn points. Something like the Buzz lightyear ride if you have been to Disneyland.

By now, you should realised we took quite a lot of group shots, LOL

Along the way, there are random structures made entire out of  Lego bricks! Great for photo taking! :D

There are also games stall for you to win some really huge prizes! I think this is where most of us spent all over ringgits on! I spent like maybe RM70 on these games alone? There are games like throwing balls onto buckets, "Fishing"for frog to accumulate points, throwing balls to knock down cans etc. Come to think it, really quite waste money lor!

The girls and their hard earned unicorns from the games, LOL

This is one of the lame games that we decided to give it a miss. Basically you have to waste your strength and energy to pull yourself up to the top, release to come back down and pull yourself up again for the whole duration of the ride...

Queued up for the tower to get a bird's eye view of the whole themepark!

Apparently there are still some parts of the park that are still under construction like the Lego hotel and the adjacent water park! I guess we will be coming back again the future once everything is done? Maybe towards end of year?

Off to the boating school where we get to steer our own boat!

This game quite fun. If your motive is to block and bum your friend's boat, LOLOLOL

More photos at the playground! They have official photographer all over the park but firstly they will take a photo for you (then give you a ticket for you to view and maybe purchase it at the end) and then they will help to take a photo using your own cam. Then again, since you already have the photo in your own cam, who will go buy the "official" one?

One of the rides where you can form teams among your group and challenge each other in a fire fighting mission!

We had to use all our strength to steer our "vehicle" to right in front of the burning building and then "pump" water through the fire hydrant, aim the nozzle at the "fire" and extinguish it. After which, steer the vehicle back to the starting point! Everything within 5 mins or so, we literally rushed like mad. Damn funny! Should have taken a video, LOL

Passed by one of the restaurant in the themepark and decided to go in take a look! Even the interior has the Lego element in it! What a nice and cute atmosphere to have your meal in. (We ate at another place in the end though.)

Went for the 4D animation show! The show was quite cool with the 3D + wind and snow effect! It was literally snowing in the theatre but it's actually foam, and there were LOTS of it! Kept "snowing" non stop through the show, LOL
Shall end part 1 of the Legoland post with this random lego squirrel among the bushes! Stay tuned for Part 2!
