Trip to Underwater World!

When was the last time you went to the Underwater world? That Saturday was supposed to be trip to JB for my very first time but suddenly the idea of going to the Underwater world was brought up and being super fickle minded us, we hesitated for a long time and decided to head to Sentosa instead! :D

JB trip turned Sentosa Underwater world outing with Yingzi, Jing Long and Jiaqi! ♥

It was so much more accessible last time when there's still the monorail, now we have to take bus to travel around the islands. My new swivel screen samsung cam = more group photos! Yayyyyyyyy!

Got a shock of our lives. JUST LOOK AT THE QUEUE!

Actually it's because we went during the promotion period. Tickets to the underwater world is around 22 bucks but admission was only $14.60 during that period, which explains the huge crowd. Zzz

Random: 2 little Japanese girl taking photos with snakes! Cuteeeeee

First thing first is the little touch pool whereby we can touch the small stingrays!

Followed by the tunnel, which is filled with a gazillion people from all over the world -__-

The tunnel! The last time i went to Underwater world was when i was in pri school? But everything still looks EXACTLY the same, no change at all! But then it's quite cool to be able to see sharks, huge stingrays, lots and lots of beautiful fishes all over again. It's not like an everyday thing what (:

Another group shot! This time change of background, LOL

Sambal Stingray with the smiley face (:

Me bringing the "little" kids out for an excursion! AHAHAHHAHAHHAHA

This HUGE and really ugly fish swam past and they were like, "Faster take! Faster take!!"

Beautiful jellyfish! Damn chio, how can we not take a photo with them!

Squeezed our way all the way to the front like a kiasu Singaporean for this shot!

Horsea!!! No wait, that's the pokemon name. I meant, Sea horse!!! I find it quite useless.

Next up, we went to the Dolphin Lagoon for the water show! From what i remember, it used be at one of the beaches but now they moved it to the Underwater world instead. No need to travel so far! :D

Talented seals doing their usual tricks! Quite entertaining, but i was distracted by...

THE PINK DOLPHINS AT THE SIDE!!!! Ok, they are not very pink though.

Woohoooo! Show mama you can jump through the hoop! *splash* LOL

3 dolphins performing together in sync! I dolphins, so cute!!!!

"Can i have a dolphin pleaseeeeee" I wonder how long they can stay out of water...

TA-DAH! Can you spot them! Ok, lameee ttm -__-'''

Went back into Underwater World to see the HUGE Stingray touching pool!

Damn scary! The stingrays are like so freakin' big! Can serve dunno
how many servings of sambal stingray at those zi char store lor!

Alright, shall end this post with this photo of a cuter stingray! Had lots of fun!

Around de world: A Pasta Affair!

Booked out on a Friday night, decided to gather a few friends for catching up session over lunch! After the previous "With a pinch of salt" session, i suggested another concept cafe which is - Miss Clarity cafe but i kinda forgot where it is... So impromptu decision, decided to head to Around De World!

Around De World is located along Liang Seah Street, opposite Bugis Junction.

I always liked how cafes/ restaurants use chalk to draw out their menu!

ADW is featured in Magazines too! Can't really read those chinese words so figure out yourself!

A small little cozy outlet, decorated according to theme. I want a cafe too!

Our drinks comes in cute little pitcher! So tempted to smuggle them home, LOL

"Look! There's a smiley face in my soup!"

Everytime i dine at a new place, i can't help but order more because there's always a lot of items in the menu that sounds damn nice. In the end, just order lor. Here's what we ordered:

Cheesy Bolo fries ($3.90) Pizza Bites ($4.90)

Can't remember what pasta we ordered. ($7.90 to $14.90)

Teriyaki Chicken Rice ($8.90) Something Baked rice (can't remember!)

In the end our table filled with lots of food! I remember still got some cannot finish lor!

One last group photo to end our trip at Around De World.

By the way, this is not an advertorial (although it sound like one.) In fact, none of my food post are adverts. If you realised in all (or most) of my food posts, i only state what food items i ordered, but i did not comment on how nice/bad the food is. So this is not a review, just blogging for fun

2011 resolutions! Opps, am i too late?

I know this should be done at the start of the year, or even before the start of a new year but then it's never too late to make resolutions! I did my resolutions for 2010 in THIS POST (clickable!) Even though i find it pointless cos i will forget them in awhile -__- But nevertheless, here's what i hope to achieve in 2011! I think some of them quite impossible, but who cares. It's just for fun only what (:

#1: Holidays, holidays and more holidays!

For 20 years of my life, the furthest i have went was Genting. Finally on the 21st year, i took a plane for the very first time (to Korea somemore!) and from that time onwards, i told myself - I want to travel to alot alot of places! Now that i'm quite financially stable because of my job, i think i can afford to travel around, so hopeful i can visit a few countries, provided my schedule allows. Oh! I'm going to Hong Kong next month!! Ocean Park, Disneyland, Tim sum here i come!!! I can speak Cantonese! LOL

#2: Get a driving license!

Ever since i turned 18, my dad have been asking me when am i going to get my driving license. I always give him the same reply, "When i win a car from a lucky draw" LOL I'm 22 this year and i still don't have a driving license. Honestly, i don't find there's a need for it now, it's like i don't have a car, so what's the point of having a license? I want to own my own car, not borrow the family car or what. Damn lazy to apply for dunno what BTT, FTT thing. Zzz (I always secretly think i can drive, LOL)

#3: Lasik to cure my eye sight!

Something that i always wanted to do. At least with my myopia cured, i can wear degree-less contact lens, sunglasses, 3D glasses and see things much clearly! I hate it when every time i go for a haircut, i forgot to wear contact lens! I have no idea what they are doing to my hair until they are done -__- I'm not sure if i can go for the surgery because of my job scope. Air force requires a different type of lasik.

#4: Commission as an officer!

Just in case you don't know, i'm still training to be an officer in the air force. The whole process takes about 9 months and if everything goes well, i will be commission as an officer in October! *prays*

#5: Get a degree!

I don't know why but suddenly i have an interest in continuing my studies. So i guess i will try my luck in apply for a degree in the latest Singapore institute of technology. Not really a MUST for me to get a degree though, but if i really heng get a placing, i would apply for scholarship from SAF! MUAHAHA

Every year i have this resolution but it never happens, but i got a feeling it's gonna work this year. It's like i'm getting a full time pay (which is quite alot) and i don't need that much amount of money for my expenses so i guess i can save like at least 1k per month? So at least 12k a year? Like abit little leh.

#7: Reply to comments and tweets!

#8: Blog more! Need i say more about this point?

Ask me burning questions!

I remembered i did a FAQ section on my blog in year 2008 (You can still read it by clicking the "About" at the top, lazy people can just click HERE to read the post -.-) I was browsing through my blog recently and randomly went to read the post and i realised it's way way way way outdated!!!!! Zzz.

Oh ya! I haven't been really replying to the comments that you guys having been posting (Yes, i'm feeling abit guilty) So here's your chance at asking (almost) whatever you want! If it's an interesting question, i might decide to include it in my "About" page! Soooo...

I'll be answering every question, unless yours is a stupid question (:
